WoW: Attention hunters! These are the new pets from Patch 9.1
The floating island called Korthia is the new area in Shadowlands coming to the game with patch 9.1.On the mysterious landmass, our heroes will not only find all sorts of new plants, but also a previously unique fauna. The wild fauna of Korthia is of course especially interesting for the hunters of World of Warcraft, after all there are plenty of free spots in the stable for new animal companions.
The highlight of Patch 9.1 is without a doubt the beefy Shardhides. These are crystalline hybrid creatures that roam all over Korthia as predators. They belong to the wildness pets and come in different colors. Source: wowhead Source: wowhead Source: wowhead Source: wowhead
The Aquilon are the new mechanical companions that you can tame with Patch 9.1. There are two new models to choose from. Be sure to keep an eye out for Prototype Aquilon! You will only encounter this pet during the Dead Drop quest (Tazavesh quest line). Also note that you will need Mechanical Imprint Matrix (if you are not a goblin or gnome) to learn the ability to tame mechanical beasts. The item can be obtained from the Engineer of your choice. If you are an engineer yourself, you can buy the recipe from the NPC Xur'ios in Dalaran (Legion) for a Curious Coin.Source: wowhead The golden aquilon. There is news from the Zul'Gurub and Night Fortress raids. For example, you can tame the bone raptor Ohgan and the crystal scorpions. To tame Ohgan, you must either be Undead or have learned Bone Bond through Simple Bone Bond tome. The book is a random drop of creatures from Maldraxxus.Source: wowhead A red crystal corpid from the Legion raid Night Fortress. Source: wowhead Bone Raptor Ohgan (Zul'Gurub)
The bulk of the new additions to Hunter Companions, however, are the numerous updates to the classic pet models, some of which we've seen since Vanilla WoW. For example, the developers have revised and updated all models of wild boars. There are also new color variants for other already known animals such as the white alpaca, an albino cobra or the yak Donnerhorn from Sturmheim, which comes with new lightning effects.Source: wowhead Source: wowhead
