WoW: Dry runs for raid mechanics - with the addon X Practice
Wiping is to raiding in WoW as golden glitter is to paladin or totems are to shaman. If every boss would go down on the first try, it would be a bit boring. After a while, though, the wipes start to get annoying. Especially when you have to surrender at the same spot over and over again. While you can get around many critical spots with good team play or clever tactics, there are some mechanics in Nathria where none of that helps. One example is dodging the echo sonar on the first boss, Schrillschwinge. Or quickly triggering the orbs on Lady Inerva Dunkelader, by cleverly connecting with the beams. Both of these things the affected players have to manage more or less all by themselves. Otherwise they, and a short time later usually the rest of the raid, are dead.
WoW: Dry runs for raid mechanics - with the addon X Practice (1) Source: buffed From experience, some players have an easier time with these mechanics than others. Some will see the boss's abilities once and know what to do immediately, while others will need a bit more practice. Since it can be very frustrating to wipe again and again until all players have seen the ability a few times and also understood, there is the addon X Practice. This uses the internal model viewer of WoW (buy now 14.99 € )and builds you a test arena, so to speak. In it, you can practice various mechanics from the raid. You can even adjust the difficulty level or make things difficult for yourself in other ways so that you are well prepared for the raid.
In addition to the two mechanics mentioned above, the soccer game of Xanesh from Ny'alotha is also integrated. The developers also want to continue the addon and integrate especially difficult mechanics for practice in upcoming raids.
You can find the addon for download at the end of the article or via CurseForge or the CurseForge app.
