WoW: Love rocket is now renamed altogether along with the twin concubines

Lately, the developers of WoW have been removing anything that might seem too "sexy" in their online role-playing game in a pretty drastic way. For example, paintings of scantily clad women are being replaced with fruit bowls, and even offensive icons like the Great Love Missile will look different in the future because they too closely resemble a phallic symbol.

What is the new name of the Great Love Rocket in WoW?

But as's dataminers have found out, the developers are going one step further and renaming the Great Love Miss ile to X-45 Heartbreaker with patch 9.1.5 of WoW (buy now €14.99 ). In addition, the two boss monsters from Throne of Thunder (Mists of Pandaria expansion) will be renamed from Twin Concubines toTwin Empyreans

. So the concubines of the Thunder King will become the "Celestial" twins (?). The exact German translation is still pending.

In our satire article Slut-Mogs, Phallic Symbols, Brothels - How Far Will You Go, Blizzard? we already asked ourselves how far Blizzard wants to go with de-sexualization in WoW. If you want to be consistent, places like Illidan's harem in the Black Temple or Gallywix's pleasure palace in the mountains of Azshara have to be changed as well - just to name two of surely countless offensive things in World of Warcraft.

Do you think Blizzard is overdoing it with all the de-sexualization in WoW and do you think the "sexy purge" has just begun? We are looking forward to your comments.
