WoW Patch 9.1: Blizzard adds unique effect to Dagger of Sylvanas

Update June 03:
With the latest PTR build of WoW patch 9.1, Sylvanas' Dagger has received a special effect that goes by the name of Banshee's Blight:

"Your attacks apply the Banshee's Blight effect, thanks to which your finishers have a chance to deal Shadow damage. The effect stacks up to four times the more your target is injured."

Original post from May 06:
Work on WoW patch 9.1 is progressing with each passing day. Players are already being allowed to take on the first battles of the Sanctum of Domination raid challenge on the test server. And there's also news about Sylvanas' loot, which she drops as the final boss of the new raid. Today, we're taking a look at her weapons. Sylvanas' bow and quiver have finally gotten their own models. The Banshee Queen's Dagger is another loot highlight from the raid. With this weapon, Sylvanas wounded Saurfang at the Mak'gorah at the end of Battle for Azeroth's war campaign.

Source: Blizzard The Dark Princess' bow is currently attracting everyone's attention. Ion Hazzikostas already warned us in the interview with Preach that Sylvanas' Bow will be a very rare sight in the game. Now it's official, the Banshee Queen's Bow is not an epic item according to the description (PTR status), but a legendary item: DNT - PH - 9.1 Raid Bow 2 (Sylvanas). The bow also got a special model. As for the special ability for hunters, everything remains the same for now. The hunters get this effect when they put it on:

Banshee's Lament
Gain the ability to fire a Wailing Arrow, which deals Shadow damage to your target and other nearby enemies and silences them.

Sylvanas' bow is a bad joke

WoW: Bow, quiver and dagger - Sylvanas' weapons do not please everyone (1) Source: Buffed The bow is so plain that some players are comparing it to any green quest item. Some WoW fans had hoped for Sylvanas' bone bow Deathwisper, which we got to admire in Legion and BfA. While her new bow matches her Maw Outfit, it looks unspectacular compared to its predecessor. Looking at the first legendary bow , Thori'dal, Furor of Stars (loot of Kil'jaeden, Sunwell Plateau), Sylvanas' bow actually seems a bit pale.

And the quiver?

Sure, at this point you can always argue that the visual look is always a matter of taste. However, when it comes to Transmog, there's still that big elephant in the room - and that's the quiver. To go with the bow, there's a quiver for hunters with another special spell:

Equip: Every 5 shots, trigger Withering Fire, striking up to 5 enemies in front of you for 236 Shadow damage.

Hunter fans have dreamed for years of finally being able to carry a quiver again. These disappeared a long time ago as independent items from the game. Until WoW (buy now 14,99 € ): Legion hunters had to "conjure" their arrows from the back. Today, if you want to carry a quiver, you can't get around Thasdorah

, the artifact bow of the Marksmanship Hunter. The quiver of arrows is built into it. If you carry any other bow today, you'll still have to live with conjuring up your arrows. Let's face it, without a quiver the animation looks really silly.

The fancy quiver of the Banshee Queen should make the hunters friendly again. Shouldn't it? The fact that there's a visible quiver again is good news, no question. The problem with that, though, is that the quiver counts as a cape. This means that in the future you'll have to choose between a cloak and a quiver, you can't have both - as with the Thasdorah artifact bow. The big question now is why the quiver is causing so many problems for the developers, and why they can't (or won't) just make it a cosmetic item that hunters can then simply select next to the bow slot when transmogrifying.

What do you guys think about this? Do you guys like Sylvanas' weapons and quiver? Can you do without a cape just fine? Or do the special spells matter in the end and you'll end up transmogrifying another bow after all?
