WoW TBC Classic: More nerfs than announced! Tier 5 Raids now a joke
While we had already published a news yesterday about the changes for WoW: Burning Crusade Classic that went live with the ID change on December 15, 2021, we have to add one more piece of information, namely the actual status of Tier 5 raids after the nerfs. Blizzard has implemented more mitigations than were announced in advance.
How hard are the tier 5 raids now?
Regarding the mitigations of the Tier 5 raids Serpentshrine and Fortress of Storms, there were already some uncertainties in the run-up. The official announcement only said that the following points will change:
- Morogrim Tidewalker: Murloc health points are lowered to post nerf levels.
- Lady Vashj: Taken over players can now be controlled.
- Kael'thas: Combat now has the post nerf level.
Problem number 1: These specs aren't really detailed. Problem number 2: In the original Burning Crusade, there were a lot more nerfs for the bosses and trash enemies of the two raid challenges. However, in the patch notes of December 15, 2021, there were no longer the above-mentioned points, but:
"The Fortress of Storms and Cave of the Serpent Shrine are now in their post-nerf state (original Burning Crusade 2.4.3)."
Get the attunements for phase 3!
Especially the two "big hunks" Kael'thas and Lady Vashj should be easily defeated by most guilds now. Which is good, because you will need their remains to complete the attunements for the next phase. We are already excited to see what speedrun records the guilds will set in the next IDs. Even before the mitigations, there were raids that had Vashj down in under 39 minutes and Kael'thas down in under 43 minutesSupportbuffed - it only takes a minute. Thanks!
